Dear audience. Some projects are so ambitious that we at the Borealis office can't accomplish them all by ourselves. The Dreyblatt Dusj is one of them. We need you to help us out! What is the Dreyblatt Dusj?
Arnold Dreyblatt is a New York minimalist composer and performer now living in Berlin. On March 26 he will perform at Landmark on the closing day of the Borealis festival with his group The Arnold Dreyblatt Ensemble. This concert will be broadcast live on local student radio between 23.00 and 24.00 for the specific purpose of creating a Dreyblatt 'audio shower' throughout the city: shops, cars, cyclists, pedestrians with radios, portable sound systems, mobile phones and even computers, all broadcasting the performance simultaneously. As the Dreyblatt Ensemble's mesmeric minimalism ripples across the town, Bergen's late-night revelers can soak up the music wherever they go.
