TALKS & PRESENTATIONS

All talks/presentations will be held in English.

Each year Borealis provides a platform for artists to present their work and for specialists to talk about subjects in their field related to the festival theme.

This year composers who have written commissions for Borealis will talk about their work, there will be informative talks about alchemy, and magic and the occult in music, and a book presentation that tells the story of Japanese musician Damo Suzuki. The audience will have the possibility to get involved in the discussion in one of the Q&As with the artists or the post-festival discussion which will wrap up Borealis 2014.
