Borealis 2009

- artists, audience, production and technical teams and volunteers - for a fantastic festival.  I made it to at least part of every single concert and was overwhelmed by the quality of the work I saw and by the audience enthusiasm and commitment.  I am now officially exhausted but very, very happy - and already getting some ideas together for next year's event!

And remember that Philip Tagney's Disrehearspektaktak will be up at Lydgalleriet until the 8th of April - so if you didn't get a chance to hear it, there's still time to do so.  Philip created the piece during the course of the week, collecting sounds from rehearsals and other non-performance events at the festival, so it'll provide some relief to those of you suffering from withdrawal symptoms too (I'll be heading down there later today...).

I also have plans to put the Henningham Family Press Borealis book on display somewhere in Bergen soon.  I'll let you know when I've found the right place for it.
