Brainer (Cimeon Ellerten, Luke Fraser and Simon Katan) vil opptre forskjellige steder under festivalen med performance, musikk, dans og overraskelser. I tillegg til oppføring under hver event er her en oversikt over hvor de skal opptre og når og delvis hvordan. Tekstene står i engelsk slik de selv har skrevet dem.

15/3  - Grand Selskapslokaler 19:00 : Brainer Interventions

There will be some interventions with Eikanger and the audience.

Brainer presents… “Work Songs” (2008-12) 30 mins approx, where they submits their fieldwork project of both new and reimagined pieces for Borealis 2012.

Simply, “This is It” is just that, that is this that it is (it is!) A fantasia concertante in and with too many movements and not enough words, for A4 paper and three office drones.

“Set Filler” explores the instant when words fail. Hopefully mics, projection and gimp masks will not.

“Toolbox Song” hammers out the results of a recent residency spent in collaboration with the newly-reformed Village People at Darmstadt Summer School, and truly nails it (if they don’t screw it up.) Genuinely wrenching, but with a spanner or two in the works. All to be framed by three

“Birdie Songs”. Not at all cheep, and not for the easily offended.

17/3 - BIKS 12:00 : Brainer again
Brainer presents Birdie Songs and Toolbox Song (2008-12) alongside jelly and ice cream and with some participatory fun at some point.
