Markele Cullins is an interdisciplinary visual artist and DJ born and based in Baltimore in Maryland. Markele works in a variety of mediums ranging from photography, design, installation, and experimental video. Throughout his conceptual and research based practice he explores themes around intimacy, memory recollection, and technology. Markele has most recently shown in Mickalene Thomas' A Moment's Pleasure at the Baltimore Museum of Art, was featured in the anthology Black Futures for his design of the publication Learning From Lexington, and was nominated for Baltimore Sun's Best DJ in Baltimore.
