Mirte Bogaert

Mirte Bogaert is a choreographer and dancer. She graduated from School for New Dance Oslo in 2014, and finished her studies at P.A.R.T.S. – Performing Arts Research and Training Studios in Brussels in 2017–2018, where she did workshops with composers and musicians like Alain Franco, Robyn Schulkowsky and Luc Vaes. Mirte creates projects in the field of the performing arts, and prefers to work cross-disciplinary through different collaborations. Her work focuses on the combination of and translation between sound, text and movement in choreographic structures. Even though her career has a starting point in dance and choreography she sees music as inseparable to her work.
