Nicolas Perrin

Nicolas Perrin is a composer and a technical designer. Throughout the years he has developed a sensitive pedagogy around sound creation and contemporary composition. He started composing for electroacoustic creation and pop music, then specialised more actively in multiples forms of electronics for live performance. He designs spatial listening devices, and also develops a instruments for his projects in dialogue with the voices and acoustic instruments. Drawing on the diversity of artistic forms and encounters with all types of audiences, he plays in multiple international productions, poetry and visual arts productions, often in collaboration with other artists and groups, like for instance soundinitiative.
