Wengeal Abebe has throughout the last few years developed a passion for learning about different cultures and their history. Wengeal is a creative and active 18-year-old from Ethiopia, born and raised in Norway currently finishing high school. She sees immense value and importance in getting out and meeting new people and places that can teach her about cultures differing to the ones she has interacted with at home. Marshall Trammell's project piqued her interest, especially the relevance to the history of enslaved people from Africa. It means a lot to Wengeal to get to be part of this politically educational project.
