Gangere

The project Gangere is an intuitive process where Charlotte Bendiks and Marita Isobel Solberg don’t draw lines between emotional and practical work, but stay in fluidity. Gangere was created as a commission for Insomnia Festival 2023 in Tromsø, where they were introduced by Per Martinsen as "two of the most powerful shawomen, [... with] the insight of intuition and the wills to manifest their ghosts through their sonic witchcraft." While moving together and navigating through the world with its highs and lows, Gangere is finding a musical language between themselves and the world, saying: We are who we are, a powerful togetherness. We are nature.
