Klaus Ellerhusen Holm

Klaus Ellerhusen Holm is a Norwegian saxophonist, clarinetist and composer who lives in Trondheim. He is a flexible musician who works within the fields of creative jazz, and contemporary and improvised music, with a number of national and international collaborations behind him. Both as a performer and a composer, he is drawn to the unpolished, unpretentious and unusual. Combined with this is his desire to bring energy from the free jazz into the framework of other genres. He's currently active with the projects Goose Green, Nakama, Ballrogg and Andreas Røysum/Klaus Ellerhusen Holm duo. He has previously written music for his own projects, and has more recently composed for contemporary ensembles such as Tøyen Fil og Klafferi, Ensemble neoN, Sitron and Lars Ove Fossheim.
