Patricia Michlits

Patricia Michlits is a recorder player, composer and music educator based in Bergen. As a performer, she is particularly interested in the connections between early music, historically informed performance, and musical expressions from the present, such as live electronics and sampling, as well as the use of avant-garde musical techniques and extended techniques, together with historical and folkloric flute instruments. She has a bachelor's degree in Performing Music from the Grieg Academy and a master's degree in Music Pedagogy from the Western Norway University of Applied Sciences.
