DJ Joy

Abigael Asgedom aka DJ Joy, born in Eritrea, living in Bergen, is inspired by the songs that brig joy to those around her. Especially hip-hop, R&B, afrobeat and amapiano shape her sets. A course with Konsept X, Papillon and Bergen Kjøtt marked the start of her DJ journey. Since then she has become member of music collective Konsept X and performed as often as she can, at venues such as Hot! Hot! Hot!, Jungelfest and Vers Libre 24 hour DJ Live Stream in Bergen, and Blak Outside Festival in London.
