Iris Oja

Iris Oja is a vocalist and choir director from Estonia with a background in opera. She performs music from all eras, but is best known for her performances of contemporary music, which she received the Estonian Cultural Endowment Prize for in 2022.

For 10 years she was a vocalist and soloist for the Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir. Now she participates in productions with Tallinn Baroque Orchestra, Tallinn Chamber Orchestra, Portuguese contemporary music group Remix, and the early music ensemble Ludovice, among others. She has long worked together with conductor Paul Hillier, both as vocalist and choir director, in a number of choirs and ensembles, including Theater of Voices and the Irish Chamber Choir.
