Siko Setyanto is a dancer and choreographer from Jakarta, Indonesia. Siko began dancing at the age of nine, and stuck with this means of expression due to the opportunities it has given him to participate in multidisciplinary artistic projects. The diversity of Indonesian culture in which Siko grew up, with opportunities to participate in jazz and ballet training as a child, provided a strong foundation for Siko's dance and choreographic vocabulary.
Siko is the founder of DRKR Kolektif – a training center for contemporary dance, especially aiming to support and build network among young dancers and choreographers in Indonesia. He has also co-founded Dansity Dance Company, a professional contemporary dance company in Jakarta, and has been a member of the Jakarta Arts Council Dance Committee. He currently works as dancer and choreographer with acclaimed Eun Me Ahn Company in South Korea, and collaborates regularly with Denpasar-based electronic duo Gabber Modus Operandi.
