Cecilia Fiona

Cecilia Fiona is an artist based in Copenhagen, Denmark, working across sculpture, painting, textiles, and performance. Her performance art embodies the biomorphic forms that emerge in her paintings, while her sculptures expand the landscapes she creates through her imagery.

Using organic materials such as paper pulp, shells, branches, rabbit-skin glue, jute, loofah, and natural pigments, Fiona explores the symbiotic relationship between body and earth. Drawing on quantum physics, microbiology, and alchemy, she creates her own mythological world where hybrid beings dissolve into imaginative ecosystems. Her practice envisions speculative worlds in which boundaries between human, nature, and cosmos merge into fluid states of transformation and connection.

Fiona has exhibited internationally, including at Copenhagen Contemporary, HEART Museum in Herning, SIXI Museum in Nanjing, and Lab Verde Residency in collaboration with the National Institute of Amazonian Research.

In 2026, she will present a solo exhibition at Towner Eastbourne, UK, and participate in group shows at Bergen Kunsthall, Norway; La Casa Encendida, Madrid, Spain; and Skaftfell Art Center, Iceland.
