Infinite Pollination
Einar Stefánsson is an Icelandic/Norwegian singer who studied at the Opera School of the National Academy of the Arts in Oslo, the Royal Northern College of Music in the UK and the University of the Arts in Reykjavík. Curious and versatile, Einar has been involved in a number of adventurous new music projects. He has a particular interest in political work and work with social relevance and impact, and has premiered a number of operas and chamber music works. He has premiered works with ensembles such as the Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra, The Royal Norwegian Marines Band, Psappha New Music Ensemble and Elja kammersveit. Einar previously appeared at Borealis in works by Lina Lapelytė and Alwynne Pritchard.
Among other projects, Einar is currently working on an artistic documentary project about migration, a new opera for children based on the story about the three little pigs, as well as curating a house concert series in Oslo.
