Heiða Karine Jóhannesdóttir Mobeck is a jazz musician, tuba player, and composer. She has performed with ensembles and groups such as Trondheim Jazzorkester, Skrap, Broen, and Skadedyr. Mobeck holds a master’s degree in performing music technology from the Norwegian Academy of Music and is currently pursuing a master’s in composition. She has established herself from an early stage as a distinctive and original voice in Norwegian and European jazz.
In 2015, she was awarded the Sparebank 1 Jazz Scholarship as part of the duo Skrap, in collaboration with Anja Lauvdal.
