Martin Taxt

Martin Taxt is a tuba player and composer from Trondheim. He was educated at the Norwegian Academy of Music and the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris (CNSMDP). On his two albums, First Room and Second Room, released on SOFA, he explores various connections between music and architecture—a relationship that continues to inspire his artistic practice. Taxt is currently active in the ensembles Microtub and Muddersten, as well as in the award-winning art collective Verdensteatret.
