Mikael Rönnberg

Mikael Rönnberg is a musician, composer, singer, and choral conductor, as well as a teacher and music educator from Hoting, Sweden. He trained at Trøndelag Musikkonservatorium, the University of Tromsø, and the Grieg Academy in Bergen, combining classical training with extensive experience across genres including gospel, pop, opera, heavy metal, musicals, community singing, svensktoppar, folk music, and jazz.

Rönnberg has served as Øymusikant in Røst municipality and as a church musician in Saltstraumen/Tverlandet parish.

He has been involved in numerous musical projects, including founding the Opera Pub in Bodø/Bådåddjo, serving as music director and pianist for Querini Opera, and in 2009 received the Bodø Municipality Cultural Prize. He is also the founder and director of the rehearsal service ChoralPractice, as well as the founder, singer, and artistic director of the professional vocal ensemble Vocal Art.
