Peter Meanwell is a curator and radio maker working at the intersection of experimental sound, music, and listening with social and political concerns. He is currently the Director of Lydgalleriet, an exhibition and community space in Bergen, dedicated to sound and listening practices. From 2014–2025, he served as Artistic Director of Borealis – a festival for experimental music, where he commissioned and programmed new music, sound, and art works. In 2014, he founded Reduced Listening, a London-based radio and podcast production company that creates progressive arts and politics programming. An occasional writer and teacher, Peter is also the co-author of The Breakfast Bible, a compendium of breakfasts.
