Spreafico Eckly

Spreafico Eckly is a production collective founded in Bergen in 2013 by Andrea Spreafico. The company has never had a fixed group of collaborators; instead, each team is assembled according to the needs of the concept. Over time, however, certain collaborations have recurred, and Matteo Fargion has become an important partner in shaping the company’s artistic discourse.

The collective works with a wide range of forms—songs, choreographies, theory, drama, opera, and interactive situations—yet all projects share a consistent, obsessive curiosity for the narrative dynamics and potential of performative languages. Many of Spreafico Eckly’s works engage with a specific element from the past to reconsider how we understand the present.

Their productions can be seen as pauses in the continuous flow of information, offering models for alternative ways of thinking about contemporary life.
