Tøyen Fil og Klafferi

Tøyen Fil og Klafferi is the name of an imagined sound factory founded in 2010 at Tøyen in Oslo, where the instruments file, trill, bow and blow life into new works of music. The factory workers share a great passion for the development and performance of new music, and their taste for exploration drives them to work within a wide spectrum of different genres. The quartet invites composers of diverse backgrounds and musical orientations to write for the ensemble.
