When we learned that percussionist and composer Susie Ibarra is coming to Bergen there was nothing else to do but to put up an extra gathering. You might remember her piece Pulsations as part of the Opening Night at Borealis 2022 performed by BIT20 Ensemble String Quartet. Susie’s ound is like no other’s, incorporating the unique percussion and musical approach of her Filipino heritage with her flowing jazz drum set style.
