Re-Imagine Europe: New Perspectives for Action

Since the beginning of 2023, Borealis has been part of Re-Imagine Europe’s project New Perspectives for Action

Re-Imagine Europe: New Perspectives for Action is a four-year transnational co-creation and circulation project, aiming to equip and empower young Europeans through artistic practices to better withstand societal challenges triggered by rapid climate change.

In the period of 2023–2027, a multifaceted artistic and cultural programme will be brought forward, consisting of close to 700 activities – including 80 commissioned artworks touring across Europe, 50 artist residencies, 40 workshops, 40 symposia, and more than 200 podcasts, videos, releases and publications and much more.

Re-Imagine Europe is a partnership of 14 cultural organisations across Europe, coordinated by Paradiso (the Netherlands), initiated by Sonic Acts (the Netherlands) and realised in collaboration with us at Borealis, Elevate Festival (Austria), INA grm (France), A4 (Slovakia), KONTEJNER (Croatia), BEK (Norway), RUPERT (Lithuania), Disruption Network Lab (Germany), Semibreve (Portugal), Parco d’Arte Vivente (Italy), Kontrapunkt (North Macedonia) & Radio Web MACBA (Spain).

This project is co-funded by the European Union for the period of 2023-2027.
