Two festival artists bridging visual practices, sound, and performance come together to reflect on their respective practices in shaping new or alternate worlds. Danish artist Cecilia Fiona presents sculptural works and costumes in Bergen Kunsthall’s current exhibition, activated as part of an experimental opera performance, Infinite Pollination. In this conversation, she meets the Oslo-based artist Camille Norment, who premieres at Borealis her commissioned work, Will there also be singing? Both artists shape realities through sound, and in this conversation, they discuss different materialities and perspectives on how sonic realities emerge in their work.
The talk is moderated by Peter Meanwell, director of Lydgalleriet and former Artistic Director of Borealis.
