Tickets can be purchased here on our website, at Ticketco.no or at the door for each event depending on capacity.
There is limited capacity for some events, and we recommend everyone buy a ticket in advance to secure a spot. We accept Vipps at the door, and Vipps and card online.
This year we offer you Borealis Pass and Borealis Klippekort (Click Card) as well as Single tickets.
When buying a Borealis Pass you’ll receive a promo code that gives you access to all single tickets for our events for only NOK 50. This is the perfect option for those who wants the full festival experience!
Borealis Klippekort gives you 3 events at a very kind price! This is a good option for those who want go to several events, or wants to bring a friend to a concert, or give away tickets as a present.
Single tickets is perfect for everyone and available for all our events.
All our tickets come in 3 different price categories:
Ordinær: Our standard ticket – still a good price for a lot of music
Honnør, BT-fordel, medlem Bergen Kunsthall og nyMusikk: Benefit- og membership card to be shown by the door together with the ticket. Honnør is for those over 67 years.
Student/ungdom/barn/BLC: Students, kids or youth ages 4–20. Members of Borealis Listening Club also get the cheapest price. Student card to be shown at the door together with the tickets.
Kids 0–4 years: Free on all Borealis-events , except those events targeted specifically at this age group.
If you have Aktivitetskortet given by Bergen kommune you + 1 can access all events free of charge. Please note that there might be age limits on some events. Book your free tickets by sending your request for events to email@example.com and you’ll receive your tickets by e-mail before the event. Please show your Aktivitetskort by the door together with the ticket.
Borealis welcomes Companion Certificate. Ordinary ticket is purchased, and it is then free access for the companion. Please send us the ticket to firstname.lastname@example.org, and we will send you back another free ticket to companion. Certificate to be shown by the door together with the ticket. More information on accessibility for our venues follows below.
Borealis is part of the event book Lysløypa and offer 2 tickets for the price of 1 to owners of this book. Send your request to email@example.com and you’ll receive your tickets by e-mail before the event. Please show your Lysløypa book by the door together with the ticket.
You can buy the book by dropping by our office in Strandgaten 207 or online.
The doors open 30 min. before announced concert or event start. Please show up in time to avoid queuing.
In the case of cancellation, ticket buyers will be contacted by e-mail or phone, as given when buying the tickets.
Tickets are refunded if an event gets cancelled.
We want to help you access all venues, but unfortunately not all venues are equipped with the same level of accessibility.
Below here in the section Venues you can read specific info on each venue. This liste will be updated alongside the launch of program.

Borealis have non-gendered toilet facilities at all venues.

Borealis is following all rules and regulations given by the health authorities and government for all public events.
We ask that our audience are considerate and show solidarity with their fellow humans when coming to an event and respect other peoples wish to keep a distance. Wash you hands, be friendly and kind and stay at home and get tested if you feel unwell and have symptoms of Covid-19.
You’ll find hand disinfection in all our venues.
There is enough space in all our venues making it easy to keep a safe distance.
We use a lot of different venues for our events, and some of these might have age limits. But Borealis is for everyone, so you just need to be accompanied by an adult over 23 years, who then fills out the Guardian form.
All age limits are specified in teh section Venues below.
The guardian must have their own ticket as well.
Borealis uses the local hotel chain De Bergenske as our Festival Hotels: Augustin Hotel, Grand Hotel Terminus or Hotel Zander K. All hotels are located centrally in Bergen and they offer a special price for visiting guests.

Venues Borealis 2022
Borealis doesn’t have one permanent venue where we present our festival, but you’ll find us all over town!
Here you’ll find specific info on each of our venues. This list will be updated along the launch of program, so new venues are added.
All venues will be well marked so you can find us! Several places serve refreshments so you can have a drink before and after the event. We are helpful in accessing all venues, but unfortunately not all venues are yet designed for easy access for everyone. Borealis have non-gendered toilet facilities at all venues.

BERGEN SCHOOL OF ARCHITECTURE (Sjøgaten 59-61a)
Bergen School of Architecture was established in 1986, and is now located in Sandviken. They have transformed a previous industrial property with a grain elevator and deep water berth, into studios and workshops for the school. For the event Resonant Silence we’ll invite you into the basement of the amazing building.
Please bring a warm coat, gloves and your hat, as it can be cold in March down there.

NYKIRKEN (Strandgaten 197 B)
Under the floors of Nykirken there still lays the ruins of the old archbishop’s manor dating back to the end of 11th Century. On these ruins the church was built in 1621, and has since then been touched by both fires and explosions. Especially the church’s spire has been rebuilt multiple times, but the white and green spire has now gotten its peace since the last rebuild in 1955.
