As a producer and curator of music and contemporary arts, Rachel has worked with Bergen Assembly and Festspillene i Bergen – where she launched Festspillkollektivet. Prior to moving to Norway in 2015 she worked with the Whitechapel Art Gallery, Artangel, London Symphony Orchestra, the Barbican and University of the Arts, London. In 2008 she established a pioneering contemporary arts programme for the UK’s National Health Service. Rachel’s mission is to provide opportunities for everyone to take part in creative projects that are collaborative, adventurous, vibrant and inspiring.
Aistė Žumbakyte is a widely experienced producer working within the field of free arts in Bergen. Since then she has established herself strongly within experimental music and multidisciplinary stage production through collaborations with Neither Nor, Ursus Produksjoner, Open Window Theatre, nyMusikk Bergen, Alwynne Pritchard and many other artists. Aistė is currently Managing Director and Producer for the concert series Avgarde. She also works with film production and has been expanding her knowledge in the technical side of event production through a workshop at WRAP – centre for artistic production and communication. She is inspired by artists and is excited to continue contributing to the arts nationally and internationally!
Malin Nøss Vangsnes is educated as a dancer, and has many years of experience with dance production. As a dancer she has performed both nationally and internationally, and toured through parts of Canada. For the last years she has also established herself as a music producer, which she combines with her dance practice and education.
Malin is passionate about the production being logical for all, and makes sure the communication is good between artists, technicians, audience and production team. She is a bubbly positive person who enjoys hectic environments, has a good eye for detail, and always keeps the duct tape close by!
